Frequently asked questions

Which versions of Excel are supported?

The Valzo add-in works with Excel for Microsoft 365 on Windows and Mac, and Excel on the web. Older perpetual versions of Excel may not support add-ins.

Is my data secure?

Yes. The add-in reads data only from Valzo workbooks and syncs only the changes you choose to send. It does not access other files on your device or send workbook data to third-party AI providers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Do I need to sign in every time?

No. You sign in once per computer. A secure token keeps you signed in until you sign out from the add-in.

What happens if two people edit the same model?

Each sync is checked against the latest version in Valzo. If a cell has changed since you exported, the add-in shows the conflict so you can choose which value to keep.

Can I use the add-in with my own spreadsheets?

The add-in works with workbooks exported from Valzo. To bring an existing spreadsheet into Valzo, import it in the web app first, then export it to Excel.

How do I remove the add-in?

In Excel, go to Home → Add-ins → My Add-ins, find Valzo, open its menu and choose Remove. Sign out first if you want to clear your saved session from that computer.
